Author's note 

작품들의 전체에 공통적으로 자리하는 점들과 선은 동시대의 불안한 실존적 상황을 나타내는 요소이기도 하고, 동시에 그것이 색점과 색선으로 놓이는 경우에는 반대로 현실을 버티어내는 긍정의 힘과 미적 실현에 대한 의지로 읽을 수도 있겠다. 본인은 이와 같이 우리가 사는 세상이 결코 완벽하지 않고 오히려 불안하다는 것에 대해 예민하게 반응하면서도, 낙천적이고 밝은 천성으로 유토피아에 대한 꿈을 또한 결코 접지 않는다. 본 작품에 등장하는 사물의 존재론적 의미는 어떠한 경우에도 모든 존재자들의 미적 실현을 말하는 것이다. 본인의 작품세계가 추상을 거치고 있음에도 단순한 형상이 아닌 이유가 여기에 있다. 삶에 대한 통찰과 사색이 모든 조형작업의 시발이 되고 있으며, 그리하여 감상자로 하여금 궁극적으로 모순과 갈등과 불안을 뛰어넘는 낙관과 밝음과 화해의 세계로 함께 들기를 권유하고 있다.-

 The dots and lines that are commonly found throughout the works are elements that represent the anxious existential situation of the time, and at the same time, when they are placed as colored dots and colored lines, they can be read as the positive power that endures reality and the will for aesthetic realization. While I am sensitive to the fact that the world we live in is not perfect and rather anxious, I never give up my dream of utopia with my optimistic and bright nature. The ontological meaning of the objects that appear in this work refers to the aesthetic realization of all beings in any case. This is why my world of art is not a simple form despite its abstraction. Insight and contemplation on life are the starting point of all my sculptural works, and thus I invite the viewer to enter a world of optimism, brightness, and reconciliation that ultimately transcends contradiction, conflict, and anxiety.
