- 작가는 mise en scène (연출)이라는 메인 타이틀로 작업을 하며 각각의 전시마다 미니타이틀이 있다.

작가가 좋아하는 자연과 동물을 여러 공간, 여러 상황으로 연출하여 자연과 사람의 상호관계 속 소통의 중요성과 행복을 찾기 위한 고요한 움직임(달팽이)이 우리 삶에서 큰 에너지를 만들어 낸다는 것을 작품에 표현한다.

자연과 일상적인 소재들을 다루면서 단순한 재현이 아닌 인간만이 느끼는 감정 행복, 슬픔, 고요함, 그리고 생명력의 순환을 시각화한다는 점에서 디지털아트가 표현할 수 없는 순수 예술가의 복제할 수 없는 오리지널 필력의 힘과 사람이 가지고 있는 자연으로부터 온 생명력과 그 속에서 느낄 수 있는 감각들을 섬세하게 표현하고 시간의 흔적과 감정의 향수를 불러일으키는 스토리텔링이 있는 작품을 제작하면서 작가의 감각적인 회화를 통해 자연의 힘을 시각적으로 표출하고 있다.

자연과의 교감을 시각적으로 단순화 시키고 재료의 중첩된 질감과 역동적인 붓질 혹은 섬세한 묘사는 장인정신에서 비롯된 시간의 흔적이고 창의 된 감각적 의도이다

 - 작가는 판화 기법에 드로잉과 채색을 더해 더욱 회화적인 효과를 주면서 작업하고 자신만의 독창적인 작품을 만들기 위해 다양한 재료, 도구와 기법에 관심 두고 경험하고 탐구하고 있으며 무엇보다 30년 전 20대 때부터 꾸준히 추구해오던 에디션이 없는 오리지널티 작품을 만들고 새로운 시도와 연구를 통해 재료의 경계성을 넘어 표현의 자유로움을 추구하고 있는 작품을 선보일 예정이다

 The artist works under the main title "mise en scène", with each exhibition featuring its own mini-title. Inspired by a deep affection for nature and animals, the artist creates staged scenes across various spaces and situations to portray the quiet movements—like those of a snail—that represent the importance of communication within the relationship between humans and nature. Through these expressions, the artist conveys how such subtle movements can generate powerful energy in our lives.

Rather than simply reproducing nature or everyday subjects, the artist visualizes emotions unique to the human experience—happiness, sorrow, tranquility—and the cyclical vitality of life. In doing so, the artist emphasizes the irreplaceable power of original, handcrafted expression that cannot be replicated through digital art. The work delicately captures the life force derived from nature and the sensory experiences it brings, weaving storytelling elements that evoke the passage of time and emotional nostalgia.

By simplifying visual interactions with nature, the artist uses layered textures, dynamic brushstrokes, or detailed depictions to embody traces of time and intentional sensitivity born from craftsmanship. These elements become expressions of both physical labor and artistic intuition.

In addition, the artist combines printmaking techniques with drawing and painting to enhance painterly effects. Always exploring new materials, tools, and techniques, the artist is dedicated to creating original, edition-less works—a pursuit maintained since their twenties, over 30 years ago. Through continuous experimentation and research, the artist aims to transcend material boundaries and embrace the freedom of expression in upcoming works.
