Author's note 

자연에서 획득한 기하학적 덩어리들의 다른 형태와 이미지가 합쳐지면서 포근한 아름다움 빚어진다. 반복된 일상의 궤적을 그려내듯이 부분과 전체의 관계는 느림과 기다림의 미학이 드러나는 작업이다. 시간을 두고 이루어지는 자연과 어울린 그 결과이며 형태적으로 보면 새와 물고기 같은 생명체가 기하학적 덩어리와 추상적 형태의 받침이 합쳐져 하나의 작품이 탄생한다.

다양한 자연의 세계를 중후하면서도 선명한 색채와 표면에 스며든 추상적 이미지 즉 부드러운 선들이 은은한 한국적 미감과 화려하지 않은 색채와 이미지가 첨가되어 단아하면서도 묵직하고 단조로우면서도 정제된 작업을 이어간다.

 A warm beauty is created when different shapes and images of geometric masses obtained from nature are combined. The relationship between parts and the whole, as if drawing a trajectory of repeated daily life, is a work that reveals the aesthetics of slowness and waiting.

It is the result of nature that has developed over time, and in terms of form, living creatures such as birds and fish are combined with geometric masses and abstract forms of support to create a single work of art.

The diverse natural world is permeated with deep yet vivid colors and abstract images on the surface, that is, soft lines, with a subtle Korean aesthetic and unspectacular colors and images, creating elegant yet heavy, monotonous yet refined works.
